General Info

The Agri-Civic Center is a multi-use complex housing offices of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, USDA Rural Development, Natural Resources Conservation Services, North Carolina Forestry Service and the ASCS Farm Service Agency as well as a 1050 seat performing arts theater, banquet facilities and several multi-purpose meeting rooms. 

 The facilities are available for many functions including concerts, recitals, theatrical presentations, banquets, corporate functions, meetings and other special events.   Click here for information about booking an event and click here for the rate schedule; for facility availability, contact the Director.  A Facility Use Request Form is also available.

The 1050-capacity auditorium features a 53 foot by 32 foot stage with complete audio and lighting systems.  Click here to view stage layout.  Orchestra level seating can be converted to dinner-theater or banquet style seating for 200.  A catering area is available with easy access to the theater.

An additional multi-use area adjacent to the lobby can be set up for banquets, meetings, wedding receptions and other events.  The lobby features monthly art exhibits provided by the Stanly County Arts Guild.

Other available areas include a conference room and meeting rooms, the largest of which will accommodate up to 70 people.

The center provides tables, chairs, catering area, ice and refrigeration.  Set – up of the facility is included at no extra charge.
